D’Julz comin’ at you with three stabs of tech-house by way of Circus Company. While this 12" doesn’t nearly inspire as much as last fall’s ‘Snuggle & Slap’ compilation, which was phenomenal, it gets the job done. The title track is a modest houser with a horn sample that gets worked out and almost overstays it’s welcome. ‘On The Road’ gets punchy and the snares start crackin’ while ‘Ideas Are Fishes’ bounces a few ideas around but overall, remains indecisive. 5/10 Eden Alison.
