So I guess Robert Hood is back on top again as the king of techno with his critically acclaimed “comeback” album on Music Man [Belgium] ‘Motor 3: Nighttime World’. Just on its own, the 3xLP (which comes with a free CD) is worth its weight in vintage EDM t-shirts but now, after the 12″ for ‘Torque One’, and a super-limited Japanese 7″ of two jazzy tracks that didn’t make the full-length, we have the new single…AND two new videos.
The 12″ for ‘Drive’ is just that: driving-ass techno. It’s also one of the best cuts on the album. That version graces side A while two Nachtstrom Schallplatten-style remixes from 0 [Phase] are on the flip. Both video links come from fans: one of the original and one of 0 [Phase]’s Nocturnal Remix. Ch-check ’em out.
…and let me preface today’s Track Of The Day by saying that one of the all-time best producers in trance, Netherlands’ Carlo Resoort, comes back one mo’ gen with a brand new 4 Strings jam. This is my love letter to our Jaxlore fans today. Make the best of it.
