The new Four Tet 12er Morning/Evening is bad ass. Has kind of a throwback feel but damn does it sound good. And if your a fan of free jazz experimental sound listen to Four Tet and Steve Reid throw down Derrick May’s “Strings if life” live back in 2006. There will be a limited pressing of this to support Steve’s foundation for musicians in crisis.
Ok I know I’m a Beats in Space fanboy but this mix by Auntie Flo + Huntleys & Palmers is jammin the African vibes.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the latest Matrixxman album Homesick release on Ghostly. There’s really good interview over at FACT Magazine and you can stream the album below.
