Ok i must talk about the Peter Hook show at Are Friends Electric the other night. What a fantastic night, ive never seen so many people at square one, and i got to tell you peter hook really rocked some shit. His set went from 90s progressive, to jackin chicago house, to party rock but he always came back to some insane track that everybody wanted to hear, whether it be transmission or born slippy, hands were in the air and pumped all night and you really felt at times that you just might be at the hacienda!!! I pretty much heard every NewOrder/Joy Division remix known to man and quite a few unknown to man. Of course the status of New Order is hard to tell, but if we couldn’t see them live here in jax this was truly the next best thing.
