submerge in bleu

ok so we got some thai and then headed down to 3000 East Grand Blvd. If you didn’t know what you were looking for you would totally miss this non-discript building that you have to go down and around the side to find Submerge Recrds. home to some of Detroit’s finest labels and artists, if you looking for anything Underground Resistance, Axis, Subject Detroit, and on on on, you will find it here. Needless to say DJ Eowyn walked out with so much they threw in a shirt. After signing their illustrious wall next to the likes of DJ Hell, Ken Ishii and so many other legends, it was time to head to the demf pre party. I have to tell the sound at club Bleu blew my mind. Tim Xavier had the floor rumbling with some deep funky minimal tracks and senor Kooky Scientist dropped his own brand of technology, with some sparse but funky techno tunes. This one track he had a sample of Electronic’s Feel Every beat, this amazing piano accapella that just rocked it. We ran into some folks from the Miami camp and it was nice to florida representing. We made it a someone early night, because its time for Record Time and some digging this morning, but we got to make it to demf early to catch Higher Intelligence Agency oh and did I mention were going to see DJ Bone at the after party!!!
