This guy played one of the Garage parties last year in St. Augustine. At the time, I had been studying up on disco: old, hard to find 12″ versions and re-edits (past and present). One of these coveted underground disco jams is Jakki’s ‘Sun..Sun..Sun’. The 12″ version is an ultra-rare promo that goes for a C-note in complete state and the big draw is the breakdown.

DJ K.C. (who also does stuff as K-Civ) did a bootleg re-edit of this disco track on wax in ’07 as part of a series and it essentially loops that furous mid-section about 3 times. He played that jam last year and it got CRITICAL up in there! Hopefully, he can duplicate that energy this go ’round. And too bad that awesome re-edit isn’t on his Soundcloud page.
